An Old Grain Store Transformed
Liza took on an ambitious renovation project, transforming an old grain store into a stunning modern country home. What was once a working agricultural space housing cattle carts became a bright, airy kitchen filled with character and charm.
From the outset, Liza had a clear vision: a light-filled kitchen that celebrated the building’s original features. Striking exposed wooden beams draw the eye upwards, making the space feel vast, while uneven original stone walls add texture and authenticity. Traditional country shaker-style units were carefully designed and fitted to work with the irregular walls, a challenge that added even more character to the finished kitchen.
With Alec’s design expertise, Paul’s meticulous fitting and Liza’s passion and clarity of vision, the result was a truly bespoke fitted kitchen - one that feels perfectly at home in its unique surroundings. Even Ruby the dog seemed impressed.

Inspired by a Teapot and a Handbag
For Trisha and Phil, inspiration came from everyday objects they loved. Already set on a teal colour scheme, they brought a favourite teapot and handbag to the showroom to help pinpoint the exact shade they had in mind.
Their kitchen designer listened closely, translating those ideas into a beautifully balanced fitted kitchen that reflected both personality and practicality. Thoughtful design suggestions tailored to their love of cooking introduced features they hadn’t initially considered enhancing both function and enjoyment.
Reflecting on the experience, Trisha and Phil commented that their designer truly understood how they wanted to use their kitchen, creating a space that felt personal and intuitive from the start.

A Modern Twist on Country Living
Wayne and Jane lived in the farmhouse next door to the barn they later decided to renovate. Jane had always loved the traditional farmhouse kitchen style, particularly with an Aga and initially expected to recreate that look in the barn.
However, a visit to a friend’s home featuring a modern kitchen designed by Gardiner Haskins sparked a change of heart. One showroom visit later, and with guidance from their designer, it became clear that a contemporary approach would better suit the barn’s architecture and renovation style.
When the space was measured, the kitchen area was a complete blank canvas. Drawing inspiration from the modern lines of the newly renovated property, the designer recommended a sleek, handleless Crown Imperial kitchen. The finished result sits effortlessly within the barn, framing stunning countryside views and proving that modern kitchens can work beautifully in rural settings.
